Lottery PoolsSudden money is going from zero to two hundred dollars a week. The rest doesn't count. -- Neil Simon
Why You Shouldn't Do ThisThe worst thing you could possibly do is win the lottery. It's pretty universally devastating. There's a good reason the PowerBall "winners" page doesn't have a "Where are they now?" section. If you think winning the lottery makes life a cakewalk, look here.Doing It AnywayI don't generally play the lottery. I was coerced some time ago into believing that it's less of a bad deal if you pool resources. So, whenever I *notice* that the PowerBall cash payout is over $50 million I run a pool. The details of how and why I do it are in the Terms and Instructions below. The FAQ, like most, isn't entire FAQ, some of it is questions I anticipated, but many of them are genuine FAQs. I originally created it after answering the same four or five questions over and over. It's worth reading carefully once, then revisiting from time to time.

Note: This pool is invitation only. Recently I invited current participants to invite their own friends. So this pool consists of my friends/family, and THEIR friends/family. Sorry to seem exclusive, but since I front the cash, I really do need to have some connection back to the participants.
