4/15/2002 - Spice Rack

I made this today. It's a spice rack made of oak, custom fitted to a spot in the kitchen. I made the measurements over coffee this morning, did the plans in PowerPoint over the second cup, and went downstairs and built it. It's been on the list for a long time. I'm very pleased with it. One more coat of polyurethane and it'll go up on the wall. The lower shelf is sized for the large plastic spice jars, the next shelf for standard glass spice jars (McCormick), and the upper two shelves are for those annoying tiny squat plastic spice jars we all end up with 100 of.
